Creating a Simple Image Site

Getting Started

Setting up a simple image site is straightforward. Follow these steps to create your own.

Step 1: Choose a Theme

Select a minimalistic theme that focuses on images. Popular options include Astra or OceanWP.

Step 2: Install WordPress

If you haven’t already, install WordPress on your site. This is your platform for building the image site.

Step 3: Upload Your Image

Go to Media > Add New to upload your image. Ensure it’s high quality for the best presentation.

Step 4: Create a New Page

Navigate to Pages > Add New. Title your page and insert the image using the Add Media button.

Step 5: Set as Homepage

Go to Settings > Reading and set your new page as the homepage to display your image first.

Step 6: Publish Your Site

Once satisfied, hit publish and share your new image site with the world!
